This is the video adopted from http://www.businessoffashion.net/. Supported by Swarovski, Giles Deacon, a British fashion designer, reveals how he came to be a fashion designer and launch his own label, GILES and how the accidents of life can change the course of fashion history.
“Unstructured exploration…”
It seems to me that Giles Deacon is a shy ,quiet man who loves drawing with full of talent. From a little boy to Art & Design student, and eventually became a top fashion designer, Giles Deacon has been going through the process which causes him started to realised and built up his own ideas in the kingdom of fashion. He worked at different posts in various brands from different countries. During this 10 years exploration, he had gained much knowledge and experience about the fashion industry, and by the accidential moment he decided to extend his career and started up his own brand, allowing his talent and skills fully developed.
Although he is such a peaceful person, he cherishs and catches every chance he've got and entirely devoted to it. May be he is a lucky man, but he is really a good model for fashion design student to face with their unpredictable and unstructured future.
